Questions

Does everyone need the app?

Yes. Each player buzzes from their own iPhone or iPad. Joining a game is always free.

Do we need to be on the same Wi-Fi?

No. Phones can be on any mix of Wi-Fi and cellular. If one drops for a moment it reconnects on its own and keeps its score.

How does it know who was first?

Each phone stamps the moment it was pressed, and the host orders buzzes by those times. A slow connection does not cost anyone their place, and true ties are flagged as too close to call.

How many people can play?

Up to 100 players in one room, on their own or split into teams.

What does it cost?

Players always join free, and every host’s first game is on us. After that the host needs Pro, or a Party Pass for one night. If anyone in the room has Pro, it covers the whole game.

Does it work on iPad?

Yes. On iPad the host gets a desk layout with the buzz order, the judging buttons and the scoreboard side by side.
